A resident of
Ankh-Morpork and member of the Beggar's Guild, Coffin Henry acquired his name because of his loud, aggravated
cough, which is reputed to be able to take a train of thought off its rails faster than an episode of
Jerry Springer, and also because of his habit of frequently expectorating in public, onto any and all available surfaces. His skill is such that, at the sound of Henry preparing his latest
green gem, wily citizens of Ankh-Morpork are capable of incredible
athletic feats to remove themselves from the area.
This sound can only be described as
"Haaawrk haaawrk HRRaawrk ptui!"
Coffin Henry can often be found wandering the streets of Ankh-Morpork with some of the other principal players in the city's beggar grapevine, such as Foul Ole Ron, Arnold Sideways, and the Duck Man.
