A magazine edited by Joe Malik, for which George Dorn was a reporter before he was abducted by the Illuminati. Though left-leaning, Confrontation tended to expose conspiracies both right-wing and left-wing.

There are two sides to every coin: black/white, happy/sad, love/hate, good/evil. You can't have one without the other. They can not be separated. As much as we may want to only love, there is hate buried deep within. The love controls the feelings of hate we may have. We could not love if we could not hate. Two sides of the same coin.

Dr. Jekyll has tampered with nature by trying to cleave the coin, separate good from evil. Mr. Hyde is all that is evil in Dr. Jekyll but without the controls of Dr. Jekyll's inherent goodness. Dr. Jekyll is under the belief that he can take away the evil and destroy it. He does not want to accept that any part of the evil that is Mr. Hyde is a part of him. In this scene Jekyll hears Hyde's voice and sees Hyde in the mirror. He has entered his own personal hell as he confronts the demon inside of him and tries to regain control.

The left text is Jekyll and the right is Hyde (a bit schizophrenic, eh?)

Confrontation

from the musical Jekyll & Hyde
music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Leslie Bricusse

Lost in the darkness, silence surrounds you
Once there was morning, now endless night
I will find the answer, I'll never desert you
I promise you this, 'till the day that I die

Do you really think that I would ever let you go?
Do you think I'd ever set you free?
If you do I'm sad to say it simply isn't so
You will never get away from me

All that you are is a face in the mirror
I close my eyes and you disappear

I'm what you face when you face in the mirror
As long as you live I will still be here

All that you are is the end of a nightmare
All that you are is a dying scream
After tonight I shall end this demon dream

This is not a dream my friend and it will never end
This one is the nightmare that goes on
Hyde is here to stay no matter what you may pretend
And he'll flourish long after you're gone

Soon you will die and my silence will hide you
You can not choose when to lose control

You can't control me I live deep inside you
Each day you'll feel me devour your soul

I don't need you to survive like you need me
I'll become whole as you dance with death
And I'll rejoice as you breathe your final breath

For I'll live inside you forever

NO!

With Satan himself by my side

NO!

And I'll know that now and forever
You'll never be able to separate Jekyll from Hyde

Can't you see
It's over now
It's time to die

No not I, only you

If I die, you die too

You'll die in me
I'll be you

Damn you Hyde set me free!

Can't you see you are me

No! Deep inside…

I am you…YOU are Hyde

No, never!

Yes, forever!

God damn you Hyde!
Take all your evil deeds and rot in hell!

I'll see you there, Jekyll

NEVER!!

This game is an unfinished prototype by Answer. It is kind of like a real time version of chess. Each player has six pieces to shuffle around on the board. You move a translucent bar up and down to select and move your pieces one at a time. The object appears to be to get all your pieces to the other side. Each piece vanishes as it touches the opposite wall. The game goes nuts when all six make it over, which makes me assume that is the purpose. There is a large letter "E" that moves around randomly, touching this causes damage to your lifebar. As does touching an opposing piece. Neither the computer AI, nor the two-player mode have been implemented. Which means you are going up against a lifeless opponent who just sits there. The idea may have been pretty good if they had ever finished the game.

Collectors Information

This game is a prototype, which makes it nearly impossible to find. If you are purchasing a copy of this, you should have an expert examine it to see if it is authentic (fake prototypes are quite easy to make). There are so few copies of this game that I cannot set a value for it.

Con`fron*ta"tion (?), n. [LL. confrontatio.]
