The
Corellian Corvette (also:
blockade runner) is a light cruiser engineered by
Corellia in that galaxy far, far away (see
Star Wars).
It has a distinct "hammerhead" shape, with a large engine array at its aft. It has only light weaponry, a pair of turbolasers on top, though it is still deadly to slow moving Starfighters. Hauling cargo is one of its many uses, as well as transporting troops.
The Corellian Corvette is used by both the New Republic (formerly the Rebel Alliance), and the evil Galactic Empire, as well as many other factions.
