It's one of my favorite things in life to walk into my house on a cold, rainy winter day after work and be greeted by the warm scent of well seasoned chili. If I've thought ahead and picked up some sourdough bread bowls, grated sharp cheddar cheese, and sour cream I'm in for a real treat and a relaxing evening. Here's my recipe.

Crockpot Chili - No Beans
1 Pound beef stew meat (1 inch cubes)
1 pound pork (1 inch cubes)
1 yellow onion (diced)
1 small can chopped green chilies
2 cups beef broth (1 can)
3 cans diced tomatoes
2 TBS diced garlic
a bunch of chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and oregano

Put it all in the crockpot before you leave for work, turn it on low, and eat it when you get home.
