Born: June 7, 1967 in Santa Monica CA

Dave Navarro was the guitarist for celebrated rock innovators Jane's Addiction in the early 90's. Influenced by classic rock giants like Hendrix and Page, he tempers that with an interest the more subtle techniques of Daniel Ash and Robert Smith. He met Eric Avery in elementary school and Stephen Perkins in high school. Once they met Perry Farrell, Jane's was ready to start reinventing L.A. rock.

After the demise of Addiction, in large part because of the troubles being caused by the drug problems of most members of the band and personality conflicts between Dave and Perry, Dave and Eric worked on a project called Deconstruction, which was short lived. Having been courted by Trent Reznor and Guns 'n' Roses, Dave opted to join Red Hot Chili Peppers for an awkward period before going solo. In 2001 he released his first solo album, Trust No One.
