David Renwick was part of the Marshall Renwick team that wrote such classics as "The Burkiss Way", "Whoops Apocalypse", and "Hot Metal". After this he went his own way and created the curmudgeonly Victor Meldrew in "One Foot in the Grave". He has recently started to chronicle the adventures of the illusion designer "Jonathan Creek".
