I'm sitting here on a quiet Sunday. Alexa is playing the sound of a thunderstorm on a 24-hour loop, which helps my tinnitus. On the telly is my annual viewing of "It's a Wonderful Life", one of my favorite Christmas movies. Clarence just jumped into the river to save George.

I'm taking a bit of a break from editing a science fiction thriller/police procedural from a Hugo nominated gent. This is his second book of a series. With any luck it'll take off once he has his third book out. I'll be editing that one too, eventually. Once the second book is edited, I'll take the final edition and create the interior files using a design I came up with for his company and crank out the eBook editions using Vellum.

Hard to believe Christmas is only a couple of days away. I'm at the point where it's lost all meaning and I can certainly empathize with George Bailey. I doubt I'll have an AS2 Oddbody knocking on my door any time soon.
