Also known as the "Imperfect Fungi", Deuteromycota are fungi with no apparent method of sexual reproduction, instead using conidia. Some Deuteromycota have been found to actually have a sexual stage, after their initial classification. These are renamed and classified with usually Ascomycetes or Basidiomycetes.

Also, a really fun insult to use if you're a geeky loser, like myself. I find calling someone a fungus with no apparent sexual reproduction to be very satisfying. Calling someone a Myxomycota is rolls off the tongue a bit better, though, but I still like the added asexualness of deuteromycota.
