Baureihe (Class) 182 is Deutsche Bahn's designation for the Taurus class of electric locomotives, as used in Austria by OeBB. 25 of these stylish beauties were acquired in 2001 for DB Cargo's international freight trains from/to Austria. This happened because the 152-series engines that were first planned to pull them had to be cancelled, as the 152 was denied commissioning by the respective Austrian authorities.

The Taurus is built by Siemens and Krauss-Maffei. It is probably one of the fastest cargo locos around.
