"But if I don't dig and you shoot me then you have to do the work on your own."

"So you think one person by their lonesome can dig an entire standard grave's volume of dirt by midnight?"

"And it's 11:10 so I guess I have to work fast! Pfft. Who put you up to this anyway?"
"The guy who wanted to meet me at the dock."
"I think he didn't want you to be at the dock after all."
"You're probably right."
"Tell you what. Why don't we finish this grave together and then we can get to the dock in time?"
