Months prior to the launch of the euro, the Dutch "Nationaal forum ter introductie van de Euro" publicly announced this mnemonic for the names of the euro participating countries in an extensive campaign of tv-commercials.

The Dutch word "Ding" means 'thing' and "Bips" translates roughly to 'bum' or 'tush'. "Flof" has no meaning in Dutch. As similar mnemonic in English is the Baffling Pigs acronym.
