Do Not Worry Little One

For even though you feel alone,
So far away from what feels like home,
Do not worry, do not have fear:
Because I will rush to you and be near.

And wisk you up out of the cold,
Warming you within my arms to hold,
Listening carefully to the problems you mention,
Your head aching from the constant tension.

Sleep now, Little One: and get some rest,
Quiet your mind and try not to be depressed,
For there are better, much warmer days to come:
To be spent with your family under the California sun.
