I was driving home from work this evening, sitting and moving in typical Atlanta traffic. It's common for drivers to look at other drivers in the vicinity (we all do it), so of course I was looking around.

I look over in the lane to my right, and I see a woman in a small red coupe. She was sucking on her cell phone. Yes friends, gnawing on the phone itself. Not the antenna, but the phone.

I looked away, and back again just to make sure I wasn't being fooled by some strange optical illusion. Sure enough, the earpiece was firmly planted in her mouth.

She glanced in my direction, and actually gave me a what-the-hell-are-you-looking-at look. I'm sorry, but I've never seen a driver (or anyone for that matter) attempt to consume their phone. This is all so new to me. Forgive me for staring.
