An anti-"Hollywood" group of filmmakers, based in Copenhagen. Their slightly-ironic "Vow of Chastity" sets forth their strict cinematic rules: only shoot on location (with hand-held cameras); only use live sound; no plothype (i.e. contrived action or violence); no genre templates, etc. The tenth and final point: "The director must not be credited". Films include The Celebration (Thomas Vinterberg somehow escapes credit-anonymity) and The Idiots (ditto Lars von Trier).

See also Dogme 95, the proper, non-anglicized spelling. They're Danish, after all.
