Don Preston

1932- American Rock Keyboardist

He played with Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, for a total of 107 albums. Also played with John Lennon, Gil Evans, Peter Erskine, The Residents, Did music score for "Apocalypse Now" and numerous other films. Also known to play Jazz, won the Downbeat poll for best Electronic Keyboard player 1969. Member of Grandmothers.
