A book by Michael Paterniti. Chronicles a cross-country car trip taken by Mr. Paterniti and Dr. Thomas Harvey, the pathologist who performed the autopsy on Albert Einstein in 1955, removed Einstein's brain, and has carried it with him since. The book meanders between recollections of Einstein's life, Harvey's life, and the road trip, and throws in some truly weird anecdotes along the way, such as a side trip to visit with William S. Burroughs, and an earlier visit by Paterniti to a Japanese karaoke bar. The book has been compared to works by Kerouac and other "road" writers.
