Actually, I have encountered three covers of gangsta raps by Dynamite Hack. Each is hillarious, although Boyz N tha Hood is still the best, with its overly sensitive accoustic-rock sound. There is also a more hard rocking cover of Ice Cube's It Was A Good Day In each case, whether it be folksy accoustic, generic hard pop-rock, the sheer whiteness of the harmonies is in hillarious contrast with the lyrics.

As for their 'serious' fare, it isn't defective or anything, its just that their gangsta covers are so brilliant its hard to get into anything else.
