This pudding tastes amazing given how little time or effort it requires to prepare.

Pudding mix
100g self-raising flour
100g butter or margarine
100g caster sugar
2 eggs
1tsp baking powder

black treacle or golden syrup
Custard for serving

Whisk together the ingredients for the pudding mix. There should be no lumps in the mixture. Pour about 3tbsp of black treacle into a 2 pint pudding bowl (golden syrup is a good substitute) then pour the smooth pudding mixture on top. Seal the bowl well with cling film (Saran wrap) then microwave for 4 minutes. Serve the hot pudding with custard.
