I watch a lot of these in
school. Unfortunately, my school doesn't buy very many new
videos, so the
videos we do have are from the
1970s.
This poses a problem for some courses. In many
videos the
Soviet Union is still in existance. This is a common feature of most
videos.
Another problem that is funny is the chessy
70s stuff. The videos will open up with a bad
disco-type song that plays backround to a
rainbow of colors forming a
logo that looks very strange and, in a way, funny. If a
commentator shows up, it gets even better. The
clothes and
hair styles, being
foreign to most
high schoolers, causes my entire class to lose it.
