Emilie Autumn is a multi-talented singer/violinist/pianist. She plays a very varied sort of music, which is difficult to categorize, but it's probably somewhere between classical and rock. Whatever it is, her music has "attitude". Which is mostly a good thing, although there are moments when you can't help but think she seems completely self-obsessed. Her entire first album, entitled Enchant, is available for free, legal mp3 download from her website - http://www.emilieautumn.Com. There's also a forum and a sort of biography there. The tracks are:

1. Prologue - Across the sky
2. How strange
3. Chambermaid
4. rapunzel
5. Ever
6. Second hand faith
7. Juliet
8. Remember
9. If you feel better
10. Rose red
11. Castle down
12. Heard it all
13. Save you
14. Epilogue - What if

It's a cool album.

She started playing violin at a ridiculously young age and quickly became obsessed with it. In fact, by the age of 12, she was hired to play with an orchestra. She studied and studied, and worked and worked, and by the time she was 15, she found herself accepted to one of the most prestigious conservatoires in all the land. Then she realized that, well, her new teachers were boring and thought she was rebellious. So, she gave up with them and started doing anything she wanted. She wrote symphonies, conducted orchestras, and of course, played violin. She wrote rock songs and sang them. And then she died her hair red, and started making the sort of music she really wanted to.

She has now set up her own record label, Traitor Records, and seems to be obsessed with tea, Shakespeare, Mac computers, and most of all, Fairies.
This is my first writeup, ever ever ever. Please be forgiving.
