Cleopatra: What shall we do, Enobarbus? Enobarbus: Think, and die.
In Shakespeare's play Antony and Cleopatra, Enobarbus was a high-ranking soldier in Mark Antony's army, and a close friend of Antony. He could see that Antony and Cleopatra's relationship was doomed. After Antony was defeated at Actium, Enobarbus deserted Antony for Octavius. Enobarbus later committed suicide due to his remorse over having betrayed Mark Antony. Here is Enobarbus's description of Cleopatra's barge:
The barge she sat in, like a burnish'd throne, Burn'd on the water: the poop was beaten gold Purple the sails, and so perfumed that The winds were love-sick with them; the oars were silver, Which to the tune of flutes kept stroke, and made The water which they beat to follow faster, As amorous of their strokes.

His full name was Domitius Enobarbus.
