In Tolkien lore, the rare gathering of ents held in Fangorn Forest for celebration, discussion, declaration of war, and general buisiness. It was recorded only once in the third age, when Gandalf the White happened to attend, along with several of the fellowship. Each time, it is held by tradition in the dell of Derndingle.
