Captain of the Philadelphia Flyers. Eric Lindros started his illustrious career when, the day he was drafted (1st) by the Quebec Nordiques, he refused to wear their uniform, stating that there was little financial opportunity in the capital of the glorious province of Quebec.

His reputation as an asshole firmly established, he was traded to the Flyers in one of the biggest ripoffs of NHL history. The Nordiques got Peter Forsberg and 4 more guys in exchange, and then went on to move to Colorado and win the Stanley Cup.

As I write this, the Flyers have been eliminated, Lindros is on his way to the hospital for his fifth and most likely final concussion. His career is probably over, and I can't say I ain't glad.

The Colorado Avalanche is once again headed for the Stanley Cup.
