A "chronotransduction" by Carla Bley. Just call it an opera, or a rock opera. A humongous one. Libretto by Paul Haines, who later collaborated with Bley on the mercifully bite-sized Tropic Appetites. EOTH was her masterwork, blending musics like some mixmaster DJ, only with humans instead of disques. A cast of dozens, via the magic of overdubs, recorded 1968-1971 at various NYC locations, including The Public Theater. A trip, if you will; it would make a great movie.
