company) was founded in 1946 by Joseph and Estee Lauder (the
person).
The company sells a wide range of fragrances, cosmetics and skin care products.
Also under the umbrella of the Estee Lauder Companies are Aramis (formed 1964), Clinique (formed 1968) and Prescriptives (formed 1979).
Popular Lauder fragrances include Youth Dew (apparently one of Madge's favorites), Beautiful, Pleasures and Intuition.
