Born December 31st, 1961, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fabian Nicieza has been working within the Comic book industry since 1985 in various capacities, most notably as a comic book writer for Marvel Comics, and as a former editor-in-chief of Acclaim Comics.
Best known within the Comic Book Industry for having co-created the long-running X-Force, Cable, New Warriors, and Deadpool, as well as his lengthy runs on Nomad, Gambit, Thunderbolts and X-Men, Fabian's next project (as of October 2002) involves writing the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series for Dark Horse Comics.
