A short log:

So it’s Valentine’s Day. I don’t particularly care for the “holiday”, and neither do you. It’s kind of nice to not have that commercialized pressure to spend spend spend - when I’d rather just spend time with you. Soon enough.

That being said though, conditioning does cause me to pause for a moment and reflect.

I will never say words such as “always”, “forever”, “my only”, nor will I ever say “I can’t live without you”. We both know that. Neither of us care for such things. Society has cultivated an unhealthy expectation on relationships; an expectation we simply no longer subscribe to.

And it is wonderful.

However - I will go so far as to say this:

My life is certainly much, much richer and more interesting - and more enjoyable - with you in it.
I truly value the time I get to spend with you, and the adventures I get to experience with you. I know I have told you this, but I will say it anyhow: I am still in awe that you are in my life.

Fascinating
Fierce
Brilliant
Beautiful

“Forever” is not a word I use, but I truly hope you stay for a while
