Bass guitarist and
vocalist for the
Electric Mayhem. Sometimes referred to as Sgt. Floyd Pepper. The
rank appears to be honorary. Like most
Muppets, he is
left-handed. He seems to be responsible for
Animal, as he can often be found holding the free end of Animal's chain. Rumors abound that he has a
thing going with
Janice. His style is very
70s (or
70's), very laid-back and
cool.
Miss Piggy once asked him to dogsit her dog
Foo Foo, but it didn't work out very well.
Floyd is voiced by Jerry Nelson. His name is clearly a combination of "Sgt. Pepper" (as in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, a famous album by the Beatles) with the name of the group Pink Floyd (Floyd's hair is pink). He even usually wears a costume similar to those worn by the Beatles on the cover of the Sgt. Pepper album.
