Crown Victoria is their
full-size sedan. The Crown Vic is, along with the
Chevrolet Caprice, the vehicle of choice for
police departments all over the country.
They've declined in popularity in recent years, since they're large, rear wheel drive, have poor gas mileage, and look like cop cars. Safety conscious people buy them because larger cars are safer in accidents, old people buy them because, well, they're old people, and taxi drivers like them for the size and cargo capacity.
