Game shows are a television productions lasting for either 30 minutes or an hour. They are usually filmed before a live studio audience. Multiple contestants compete for prizes in some form of game, usually not physical (like football), requiring instead a mixture of wit, knowledge, guesswork, and an occasional keen flip of the wrist. There is usually one big prizewinner at the end of the show.
