An entirely fabricated number made up by Games Workshop by taking a very large number, say 500, multiplying it by the points cost of the miniature in the game, doubling this number if it's a character, multiplying by ten if it's a tank, adjusting for exchange rate of the appropriate country (probably valuing the pound at roughly twice it's actual worth, just to be on the safe side), and then probably doubling again. They then release the miniature, and inflate the price repeatedly by roughly ten times the actual rate of inflation. They have in fact now taken the laughable step of no longer putting the price on the actual packaging, replacing it instead with a cryptic code, allowing them to merely put up a new price poster every time they raise the prices. Which is often.
