Republican governor of
Illinois. Currently embroiled in a long running
scandal involving
bribe money from driver's license fees being diverted into his
campaign fund. Doesn't stand a chance of being reelected. May not be able to keep himself out of jail.
On the positive side, after realizing that he had no chance of reelection, he's behaved a lot like a Democrat. Lots of public works project, put a halt to the death penalty, and raised taxes (well fees, as he calls them).
