Geotrichum is a genus of fungi which can cause a number of diseases, including geotrichosis. The fungi can contaminate grains, fruits, dairy products, paper, textiles, soil and water. They can usually be found on human skin, but do not normally cause problems.

Geotrichosis is a rare infection of the mouth, respiratory tract, and digestive tract which can cause skin, bronchial, mouth, lung, and/or intestinal lesions.
