What can I say? This came up on
#everything yesterday, to wit:
"Getting girls is hard."
To which I would reply that getting girls is easy, but getting interesting girls is hard.
Now, to explain myself, so I don't come off as a male chauvinist pig:
I don't subscribe to the notion that "getting" girls is something people should be doing. Perhaps a better choice of words is "impressing girls." But maybe not. Anyway, semantics aside: Boring girls are easily impressed, as well as being predictable. You just have to follow the formula and hey, they like you. Interesting girls are much more, well, interesting. They are not likely to be impressed by the standard courtship displays. You have to think to impress them, but they are so much more fun to be around than the boring girls.
