Glock's American full-size
.45 automatic handgun, the Glock 21, built on the successful release of the
Glock 17 in the states in 1994. The model 17's adoptation by
law enforcement angencies ensured the popularity of the .45 caliber model in 1990.
The 21 is identical in dimension to the older model 20, namely 193mm in length, 139mm tall, and 32.5mm thick. Its magazine capacity is 10 rounds with a standard clip, with 13 for law enforcement and military applications. It's a nice weapon to carry as a sidearm, too, at about 38oz, loaded.
This firearm has received rave reviews in Guns & Ammo magazine, as well as NRA results. It is one of the best choices for a protection sidearm today.
