A high-tech weapon from
Valve Software's
First-Person Shooter,
Half-Life.
This gun makes an appearance near the very end of the game. It's a very powerful weapon which
gibs everything it kills. It fires a continuous blue beam that quickly burns through ammo, but destroys opponents. You should never use the gun against anything but the
toughest enemies.
It is nicknamed the
Egon Gun since it resembles the weapons from
Ghostbusters, which were created by
Egon. It shares
ammo with the
Tau Cannon.
