One of the Unknown Linux Heroes

Native of Toronto, Ontario, Grant Guenther is responsible for the creation of many of the parallel port device drivers included in current Linux distributions, and all of the parallel port drivers for removeable storage solutions. He also wrote 10,000 lines of code in the Linux kernel. Even in the midst of the Linux stock market bonanza, which results in his receiving a half dozen job offers a day, he remains humble and unassuming, working as the sysadmin for his small ISP.
