Primary Plot: General Franklin,
Dr. Franklin's father, arrives on station with 25,000 GROPOS (ground pounding
soldiers) on their way to a military action on an alien planet.
Commentary: Pretty blah episode. It reminded me
way too much of the
Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Riker's father came on board. The chick who Garibaldi decides not to get with actually returns from beyond the grave in the Season 5 episode
Day of the Dead.
