The street lights seemed to destroy the sky.
Bright shades of red, orange, yellow, and white took the sky away completely.
It wasn't black, it just wasn't there.

I couldn't remember where I was walking.
I thought, when I left, I would be walking home, but I was home.
The concrete, the buildings, the lights, they were all mine.

The world is a completely different place when you're the only one in it.
When no cars drive by, when houses show no sign of life.
I was the only one preventing the world from evaporating.

So, I ask you again; have you ever walked?
