I was watching an episode of
Doctor Who wherein the main monster is something you can't see. A creature that
hides almost perfectly, visible only in a moment, out of the corner of your
eye.
I decided it would be a good idea to watch it with the lights off.
After a little while, the computer monitor screen in the corner turned off.
Then it turned back on again.
