Hennessy is one of the most famous types of cognac in the world, and proclaims to be one of the world's finest spirits. It was created by an Irish man Richard Hennessy, in 1765, who based his company out of France. Over the course of the next 200 years Hennessy was in demand all over the world in the US, China, Japan, and Europe, and became associated with upper class activites like golf, sailing, and horse riding.
