Married to TELEPHUS. During the Greeks' first expedition to Troy, when they landed in Mysia (see ACHILLES) she led the women of the country in an attack on the invaders, and was killed by Nireus. Hiera was said to have been more beautiful than Helen. She had two sons by Telephus, Tarchon and Tyrsenus.
