Television series that originally aired from 1984 to 1989 on NBC. (Reruns aired on the PAX TV network in the late '90's.) It starred Michael Landon as Jonathan Smith, an angel who traveled the country in the company of his human friend Mark Gordon (played by Victor French). Each week Jonathan would receive another assignment from Heaven to involve the duo in someone's life on Earth and make things better. (Very similar to the more recent hit Touched by an Angel.)
