A CBS comedy about the long, long story of how Ted Mosby fell in love. Narrated by Bob Saget, it all begins when Ted's best friend and roommate Marshall proposes to his girlfriend Lily. Ted decides that if he wants that wife and two kids, he'd better buckle down. Almost immediately, he meets Robin, who seems to be his perfect match. But, that's not how life works.
This show is consistently brilliant and hilarious, second only to Seinfeld, in my opinion. The real treat is getting to watch Neil Patrick Harris's character, the suit-wearing, womanizing, lazer-tag-playing Barney Stinson.
