For minor tarnishes, simply rewrite the writeup in question. This may require nothing more than a simple correction to the
HTML or adding some
hardlinks, or you may have to do some research on the topic at hand and
node what you know. Sometimes a poem may be called for.
For larger spills, the deep cleaning action of an editor or god may be called into the picture. Minor stains such as accidentally created writeups or jokes gone bad may need to be nuked quickly; for this you will need to treat the writeup in question liberally with club soda and file an e2 nuke request. Users are asked to only clean their own messes.
In the case of really bad messes such as trolls and illiterate noders, a bit of bleach added to the nodegel and more than one god may be employed.
