This phrase is commonly made satire in many events, but the origins of it are in the roots of Football. (For you non-Americans, I mean actual American Football, not Soccer).

The Disney postgame tradition began 14 years ago in Pasadena, Calif. Moments after leading the Giants to a 39-20 victory over the Broncos in Super Bowl XXI, New York quarterback Phil Simms stood in the middle of the Rose Bowl and, while showered with cheers from fans and the flicker of flashbulbs, uttered those memorable four words: "I'm going to Disneyland."

Since then it has become a tradition for the MVP of the winning football team in the Super Bowl to say the words and go, predictably enough, to Disneyland. Since then the line has been parodied in TV and radio commercials, political campaigns, comic strips, and in the song "Dinzzkneeland" by Dada. Reportedly O.J. Simpson also said the rather overused phrase after the freeway chase in his Ford Bronco.

So who all has gone to Disney since then? (from the Superbowl)
