Probably because I'm a night owl, or maybe it's because the things that keep me up this late are things I really enjoy, and therefore things I do well.

A twist on the army slogan: "We get more done before six a.m. than most people do all day." Which is also true for me, but once I've done it, I go to bed.

Look. Post midnight is when I open up, thoughts start turning, projects receive attention. It is pleasant calm, concentration slips in smoothly, streets are emptier for ease of trouble. The ones that occasionaly fall in with those hours, we have among the best of times, secretly to ourselves. Morning is rough on me, at a point called noon. Let the insomnia flow.
