we think linearly, in opposition to nature
who is cyclic

when we encode our thoughts, they are in lines
left to right, top to bottom, left to right
one-way, like our experience of time

the wheel traces a trochoid through space
the clock traces a corkscrew through time
the rider traces a path through a neighborhood
like a rivulet across dirt

books are shaped like trees
the roots are the paths of experience
the trunk is the author, who has drawn from the roots
and the leaves are the readers, fed water from the trunk
in reading and in living, autumn and become soil

breath is a four dimensional jellyfish, a photon
blue in
red out
diffusion, period, pendulum, delta-T
