Portishead and Tricky both sampled music from this Isaac Hayes track, which is on his album Black Moses. Some people question who sampled Hayes first, and whether there was any form of plagiarism involved.

Although Glory Box, and Hell is Around the Corner include the same sample of Ike's Rap II, neither Portishead nor Tricky had knowledge of the other's use of the sample. Tricky's album Maxinquaye was recorded first, but Glory Box was written before Hell is Round the Corner.

Although having a similar sound, both songs are unique in their own way; Only proving once again the talent of both Portishead and Tricky, in their ability to share the same music sample and create such distinctly different songs.
