Cruel Intentions (based on Dangerous Liasons), released in 1999, originally had the tagline "In The Game Of Seduction, There Is Only One Rule : Never Fall In Love." That line gives you a pretty good idea of what the movie is about: seduction, games and love, and was put on movie posters and ads everywhere.
When it was released on video in Australia the tagline on the cover and video store posters was "They're old enough to know better... and too young to care!"
What is that supposed to mean? The exclamation mark gives the idea that it's a wacky, crazy comedy that 'American Pie 'fans would adore.
